- Engaging with importers and exporters in Ghana and other African countries
- Developing programs to support the integration of small and medium scale enterprises and aggregators
- Engaging with trading companies in Africa, eg: Kenya, Angola, Tanzania, Namibia etc.
- Ready to engage with willing trading companies in other countries and consolidate relationships.
- AFCFTA Trading Company is creating a Trading desk that would match make and bring business and business together.
- A database of all trading companies, freight forwarders in Africa is being created.
FUTURE STEPS AND KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
- From our journey so far and engaging with countries and AfCFTA secretariat under the Guided trade initiative we humbly request support from the Council of Ministers
- To help establish trading companies in all countries across Africa
- Create a network of trading companies
- Focus on aggregating SME and small holder farmers
- Policy to support the private sector to drive the AfCFTA integration agenda
- Create a database of businesses across Africa
